No. 31 Killarney Holiday Village

We stayed in No. 15, a semi-detached unit in a quiet, small network of row houses located within very short walking distance to a bike rental, pleasant walking/biking distance from Muckross Abbey and Muckross House, etc., in Killarney National Park. The property was clean and in good condition; Donal and Denise were helpful and generous hosts, providing suggestions for what to see in the area, leaving a delicious basket of treats in the kitchen for our arrival, and responding immediately to any questions or issues we had. A 5-minute drive puts you in the town center of Killarney. We liked being located outside the town centre; it was quiet at night, but we were close enough not to be discouraged from enjoying a bit of the night life. It's also a pretty short drive to Kenmare (45 min.), along which you can also catch sights such as the Torc Waterfall and Ladies' View. Nor do you have to go into town for dinner; the restaurant immediately to the left as you exit the housing complex (two minute walk) was very solid. We had a very nice stay here.

Donal was an excellent host. He made a personal visit and was very helpful with organizing bus tours and general questions. The home is very clean with great amenities. Our memories will last a lifetime.

No.15 Killarney Holiday Village was perfect for our needs. We will rebook again for next year's trip if available.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Denise & Donal's place. It was very clean and spacious. It was a wonderful home base for exploring the loveliness of southwestern Ireland.

No, 15 Killarney Holiday Village was clean, well furnished, and exactly as represented. We enjoyed our four night stay here and found the place to be both quiet, but also not terribly far from the city centre.

My family and I had a great experience staying at Donal and Denise's property. The house was immaculate and Donal and Denise were wonderful hosts: extremely accessible; friendly; responsive to requests. I will look to stay again when I next return to Kerry.

Donal and Denise were such great hosts! Communication right from the start was exceptional, always quick to respond. We really appreciated the basket of food items left for us. It was just what we needed to tie us over until we made it to the Tesco. I think what we enjoyed most about the rental was the space (as we were a large group with a toddler) and the location. We wanted something central and accessible and the home checked those boxes. Highly recommend staying in any one of Donal and Denise's rentals. Thanks again to you both!

We really enjoyed our stay with Denise and Donal. Their apartment is very well located, very nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Our stay there was very comfortable and it is very close to the center of Killarney and to the lakes and lovely walks/cycles. Denise and Donal were excellent hosts and had left some provisions for us on arrival after our journey. They made us feel very welcome. We would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone we know.

A beautiful house, extremely clean & spacious with everything one would need in a home. The welcome basket of goodies was a real treat so there was no need for popping to a shop in the morning. We only stayed 3 nights as we were attending a wedding in the Muckross Park Hotel, however we would definitely consider returning for a vacation. The holiday village is very well located. Close enough to town if you don't mind a 15 minute walk, but yet away from the heavy hustle & bustle in peak season. Loads of space both inside & out for kids to run about, and very safe. Killarney has SO much to do and makes for a fab holiday destination. Denise & Donal will make it even more fab as your hosts.
